"I have a plan to use fewer adulticides and protect the natural habitat. The Collier Mosquito Control Department has two missions. One is to protect us from mosquito borne diseases. Professional Credentials:
Barnard College (BA, 1974); Harvard Graduate School of Design (MS, 1977).
Her 53-year career includes commercial real estate finance at Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual, and the Healthcare Finance Corporation, with a focus on multi-family housing and asset-based lending. Founder of SpeakIQ, Renaissance Properties, and Quiet Collier, Inc.

Civic Record: Demonstrated community leadership, including managing pro bono environmental consulting operations and leading municipal infrastructure advocacy. Memberships and active participation include Jewish Federation, LWV, NAACP, Union of Concerned Scientists, Hadassah, Florida Native Plant Society, NCWA.

Personal Ties: Domiciled in Naples, Florida since 2015. Married to Craig M. Kanter for 50 years,, they are the parents of three adult sons.

Her father, Stanley Bruckenstein, the developer of the Rotating Ring-Disk Electrode and other measuring technologies such mass spectrometry , inspired her interest in pollutants. She worked in his lab until she went to college and got to study more interesting topics.
Platform and Priorities

Community outreach by me. I will educate the public about Integrate mosquito management. This mean using methods other than pesticides to reduce mosquito populations. These methods include creating and protecting habitat for bats, mosquito fish and dragonflies. Use of fans to blow away mosquitos.

Transparency about funding for junkets to conventions, meals and other perks.
